Travel Requirements

Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA)
Travelers visiting Kenya are required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), also referred to as a "Visa", prior to arrival. The cost is $30.00 per person. Participants should complete the application before travel.

Immunizations
There are currently no mandatory immunizations required for entry into or departure from Kenya when traveling directly between the United States and Kenya. However, certain vaccinations, including yellow fever, may be required if traveling through or arriving from countries considered high-risk.

Malaria Precautions
Malaria is present in certain regions of East Africa, particularly in some coastal areas. Participants are advised to consult with their healthcare provider prior to travel regarding recommended preventative measures, including anti-malarial prophylactic medication.

• Double tickets are for one room intended for two people. Double rooms may include either one double bed or two twin beds. Bedding arrangements are determined by the Safari Lodge based on seasonal availability and other concurrent event bookings.
• Domestic charter flights have a luggage weight restriction of 33lbs per traveler, including personal items. Traveling with a carry-on is recommended.
